Experience the call to ARISE. The Peninsula District stepped beyond Pentecost into a weekend of worship, learning, and Spirit‑filled renewal with Dr. Tiago Arrias.
Dr. Arrias left us pondering three questions: will we listen, will we suffer and will we be offended? These questions run deeper than they appear. They invite us to examine our assumptions and the relationships we struggle with, especially those in the church.
“Will we hear?” or maybe even more accurately, “Can we even listen?” Our modern world affects our perception of the voice of God, but this is not unique to our time period. Learn more from Dr. Arrais when he takes the stage at the 1:11:14 mark.
Believing in Christ is a gift… and surprisingly, suffering for Christ is a gift too. Are we willing to choose people over convenience, community over isolation, and love over comfort. Hear more from Dr. Arrais at the 2:20:33 mark.
Offense often leads one to exit relationship and religion. Are you willing to stay when things get hard and when God calls you to work against the grain of modern society. Dr. Arrais finishes up his series starting at the 48:29 mark.
