We continue our 2026 Peninsula District Convocation with the difficult question, “Will we suffer?,” a question that challenges us in the best way.
Dr. Tiago Arrias (2:20:33) were reminded that real listening, especially to God, requires humility and a willingness to hear more than our comfort allows. From Philippians 1:29, we learned that believing in Christ is a gift… and surprisingly, suffering for Christ is a gift too. He invited us to move from an economy of pleasure to an economy of love—where following Jesus means choosing people over convenience, community over isolation, and love over comfort.
Our video starts with Bible study. This week Pastor John Kurlinski covered the sixth lesson in our study on I & II Corinthians, “Spiritual Gifts.” To view the adult Bible study guide referenced in the video, visit the Sabbath School & Personal Ministries website.
